GNM course is general nursing and midwifery. The course can be pursued after successful completion of 10+2 or equivalent examination in any degree. The course duration is 3 years. The program has been designed to enable eligible candidates to address the health needs of the country, community and individuals. They can also pursue advanced study.

Eligibility Criteria

Age & Gender - Applicant age must be at least 17 years. Maximum age is 37 years.

Educational Qualification

The candidates must pass (10+2) examination from any recognised board / council in regular class mode with at least 40% marks in aggregate and passed marks in english.

Nationality & Residence

Candidates should be citizens of india. West bengal residential / domicile certificate is essential for admission in GNM nursing course.

Fitness

All the candidates must be medically fit for the course and produce a medical fitness certificate.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on common entrance examination titled ANM & GNM by WBJEEB.

Registration

After successful completion of the final year examination the students shall be eligible for registration with WBNC as registered nurse.
